I posted this earlier on my new blog The Covfefe File.....
The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.....Lao Tzu
One more step and the next one gets me where I'm going....I'm pretty sure I stole this quote from a book I read many years ago called The Swan Song...a book about America after a nuclear attack. Imagine having to trek across the country on foot without friends, without any of the creature comforts we have come to know....you have a thousand mile journey...how do you do it? "
ONE MORE STEP AND THE NEXT ONE GETS ME WHERE I'M GOING...
President Trump was never going to save this country by himself. THAT is our job. He is just one man. We are three hundred million people. We have a thousand mile journey to make America Great Again. If the people want a wall built, a wall will be built. One more step and the next one gets me where I'm going....one more phone call, one more symbolic gesture sent to your congressman, one more brick for the wall...this kind of pressure actually works so I challenge all of you to participate in...
The Brick Challenge...
We the people were able to force Speaker Ryan to disavow Antifa after he and other prominent leaders all but condoned their violent actions so now we are going to hold them accountable for funding the wall.
We know they don't want to but we elected them believing they would support President Trump's agenda. Building the wall is at the top of that agenda. We know they don't want to fund it so we have to make them want to fund it.
THREE BRICKS! We are going to send bricks to our congressional leaders as a symbolic gesture to build the dang wall! Each one of you reading this will hopefully send a brick to your representative in your state, Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, and Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell and then challenge THREE friends to do the same. (Send real bricks if you like or buy some foam bricks from Hobby Lobby....it's the thought that counts!)
